Some people call it “de-winterizing.” Either way, it is always a good idea to have someone objectively take a good look at your boat or watercraft each spring and also to perform many of the dozens of maintenance checks that can go a long way towards insuring you of a safe, fun and leisurely summer of activity on the water. Our local mid-Atlantic winters with wildly fluctuating temperatures and extreme weather conditions can be especially hard on everything from the nuts and bolts on your engine mounts to the watertight seals around the hull and virtually everything in between.
